Is Barbados worth surfing in June?

I am a Venezuelan surfer living in Miami, Fl (unfortunately).
I came across your page a few days ago and I think it's pretty cool, especially for beginners. I recommended it to my cousin who would like to start surfing and who just got transferred to Barbados. I now have the chance to go there with basically all expenses paid except for the plane ticket and beer.
I am planning on traveling in June. Is that a good season? Is it worth it? I just don't want to go there for nothing. I am desperate for some good waves.
Thanks for the info.

A free trip to Barbados in June is perfect - as is pretty much all year round. The surf will be smaller than in winter but it is really really consistent all year round - an ideal spot to guarantee surf pretty much every day.
Mornings are almost always offshore!
There are spots for every level of surfers which is also a bonus.

A short answer to your question - get your plane ticket today!!

(don't forget to send us some photos)
