Bodysurfing spot near Puerto Vallarta Mexico?

Aloha!
Family & I are planning a trip to the Puerto Vallarta area this May. What surf spot would be best for bodysurfing? Also, is the water warm there? Need a wet suit?

San Pancho, a town up from Sayulita has decent bodysurf conditions, there might also be some spots north / east of Cruz de Huanacaxtle
