Surfing Waves

In Bali, the dry Winter season running from early June to late August is generally offshore along the west coast from Kuta to Uluwatu with the South East tradewinds.

The wet Summer season is offshore on the Nusa Dua to Sanur side of the island with North west winds from early December to late March

Took that from a random website....yesterday I surfed the west coast for the first time in months....winds were offshore and the waves were relatively empty since everyone is still in wet season mode (and the swell is hardly a swell)......anyway, looking at the 10 day forecast, it looks like the winds have shifted and west coast is the coast again....coming a month early. The west is mainly lefts and has more and better variety of breaks....winds have been heavy this year so the west coast has been unsurfable on many days (any time I tried)....just a mess (though not as bad as that slop Oldie posted in another thread). Happy days are back again!
