Richard Schmidt surf camp?

I finally going to learn to surf! I am planning a surf vacation this August. I can't afford to go overly far but I do want to get as much out of my week of surfing as possible.

Of the many possibilities available on the west coast I am considering signing up for an adult surf camp with the Richard Schmidt Surf School.
I'm hoping this is a good choice and that the school is a reputable and respected one.

Anyone have any comments or feedback about this school or would like to suggest another one that they know to be good?
