When/Where to surf in Spain?

Hi
I'm from Korea, excited to be a surfer!
I only learned to surf twice, just some paddling and standups with a push, only on beach breaks in Korea.
I'm planning to learn/surf for a month here in Korea and head to Hawaii for 2-3 weeks to surf more in spring!
To be honest, I'm not sure if I'll get any better after these trips, but hoping that I will, I'm planning on my next trip, to Spain!

I'm thinking of 1 week surf camp and maybe one or two more surfing days!
I guess the options are northern spain or canary islands.
For now, I'm more into canary islands for the surf camp, thinking that it will be far more exotic.
Where would you recommend?

I'll be traveling other countries besides Spain from May to July, so I'm also trying to figure out when to put Spain in the itinerary.
There are two options: Early June or Late June to Early July.
If I am to join a surf camp in canary islands, will it be too hot either way?

Even though I'm just a beginner, maybe just new, to surfing, I am SOOOO excited for my surf life!
If there's any other advices that you'd like to give me, they are all very welcome!

Thanks and see you in the waves, very soon:)

Early June/Late June up to Early July both the Canary Island as the northern coast (Basque country and more to the west) are all excellent choices for beginners. There are always some more difficult breaks so inform yourself about the local conditions.

I will be in Hawaii, Waikiki mid March. There usually aren't any good swells, but enough for you to learn on and get long rides. I can point you out to some great surf instructors ( one guy does a lot with Koreans ).

Thanks for all your replies!
I'm so excited that canary island will be a great choice:)

As for Waikiki, are there surf camps in waikiki too? Or are just surf lessons okay? It'll be very helpful if you recommend some surf shops! Thanks

Waikiki is too expensive to have "camps". Just take a group lesson ( 3 people or more ) for about $45. Private one-on-one lessons are more around $75, but you get the same value/surf time with a group lesson. After your 1 hour lesson, you can go out by yourself for an additional $5 and hour. But trust me, if you're a newbie, you probably won't make the first hour anyways. If you already know how to stand up and beginning to turn, I can recommend some advanced instructors.
There are so many surfshops, just let me know what hotel you'll be staying at so I can point you out to the closer ones.
