Surfing Waves

Hey! I'm portuguese and i'm thinking about going for a surf trip by myself. I want to go in june to an warm destination and since i'm going alone I want to go a surf camp and surf with some homies. Mid level waves. Anyone have an idea? Well, I work all year and would be happy to have some parties between waves. cheers all the best to you guys!

Isn't "homies" the crew or gang of friends you hang out with at home ? How can someone be your homie if you just met them ?
Mid-levels waves for someone from Hawaii is much different than mid-level waves here in Japan. Can you explain what size and type of wave you're looking to find ?
