Miami in February + any close flight destinations?

Dear all,


I am an Italian intermediate surfer coming to Miami for 2 weeks, towards the end of February, I have a couple of questions:

1- how's the swell that period of the year? as a begineer/ intermediate surfer I am comfortable in 3-4 ft waves

2- what would be a cheap/easy to reach destination (1-3 hours flight for 3-4 days) from Miami to surf some days which such conditions in February? Jamaica? Costa Rica?
