Hey guys, I'm travelling Myanmar for 2 weeks in January and will have some days in Thailand to do some surfing before going back home. I already heard that January is not really good for surfing in Asia / Thailand but was hoping you might have some recommendations on where I'd be able to catch some waves end of Jan / beginning of Feb. I'm a beginner.
Thanks! :) Cheers

There is surf in Thailand but Jan/ fFeb, is not the time to find it, but there may well be learner level surf near Phuket around that time, longboards are the go and there are several willing surf schools. .
Have fun!

If you look a little further around Surfing Waves there are many things to help beyond the forum like a travel map of surf spots. https://surfing-waves.com/atlas/asia/thailand.html
You can certainly get an idea, + google away at all the other surf atlases and wannas
