Surfing in Tenerife / December

I'm going to Tenerife in december and looking for some nice places to stay.
I do have a car and I'm going to stay for 8 days. It would be nice to surf some spots in the north and south.
But it shouldn't be very touristic like las Americas!
Do you have any recommendations about spots and hostels, appartments, etc.?
