Surfing Waves

hey,
My friends and i had planned a trip to Bedewi, Bali in early October.
fleshin' it, so called 'friends' had now bailed on this trip last minute cos of work and xxxxx etc, fleshin' left me no choice but to go solo, as I cant afford to cancel this.
Looking for anyone whos also planning a trip to Medewi during early October 2016? Maybe we could split a room together, or maybe be my surf buddy? Im actually scared to go solo, so some buddies would be GREAT!!

Im a mid 20s male from Malaysia. Local malaysian, born n bred in KL. Noob/intermediate surfer.
Will be surfing around Medewi for a week, 2 days on Kuta, and 1 day in Sanur to pick up my new board.
Bringing my Carver board (a skateboard with surfy trucks) along to check out Globe Skate Park Pool in Denpasar for a session or two.

Tips on Medewi for you, is a rock boulder beach river mouth bay left handers, getting in and out of the water take a little time to observe where you can do that easily. There is an entrance key hole a little further out from the main part of the beach,So Baik Baik on that. lots of clueless Japanese surfers out there as it has become a fashion spot for them.
It is not their nationality but their cluelessness you need to be aware of.
A Hati Hati for you to consider, there is a bit of drift so pay attention to that .
Take couple of spare leashes as the rocks can shred them and with the leash definitely your board.
BTW organising friends for surf trip is like herding cats. always be prepared to do it alone, and they come bonus.

Yes these cats are really annoying but cute at the same time!! lol

Just a remembered thought , be aware that the monsoon season may be about to kick in and the river will become seriously polluted. October is chancing with the rainy season and it could be dry. Guess work every year!
