Heading to Palm Springs in November.

I'm heading to Palm Springs in November (yes I know it's about 2 hours from the Ocean)
Best beach that's Closest to PS?
Wanna hit the waves at least 3 times that week.
Any suggestions would be gladly appreciated.

The two quickest options are not bad and should easily offer surf in November. About 2 hours' drive southwest from Palm Springs, you've got Carlsbad. About 2 hours' drive northwest from Palm Springs, you've got San Clemente. If it were me, I might prefer the pier in San Clemente. Both locations are provide well known, regional surf breaks.
