Learning to surf in Mozambique/South Africa

Hi!
I am a complete novice at surfing but I am very keen to start. This year I am working abroad in Mozambique carrying out research and I will have 2 free weeks at the beginning of May where I thought I would take the opportunity to learn how to surf!

I was wondering if anyone could offer me advice on areas around Southern Africa good for beginner surfing? Particularly places that offer basic accommodation or beginner surfing lessons/accommodation combined.

I found a place called turtle cove (turtlecovetofo.com) in Southern Mozambique that seems like an option. But I am also close enough to South Africa, particularly Durban to travel there.
