Need some advice on spots around Asia

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask for some tips about where to find surf for my level.
So basically i surfed for 1.5 year at my home country (Portugal) always beach breaks. I moved to Dubai two years ago to work and since then I surfed only twice at Wadi Adventure (surf pool here in Al ain).
I am a beginner/intermediate , I used to be able to take off regularly and go down the wave, but that's it, no maneuvers no turns nothing more complex (very shaky duck dive and speed thrusts). I used to ride a 6.6/20.

Basically now i have discounts on flights and I can fly easily to Indonesia, Maldives, Philippines, Thailand , Siri Lanka . Etc

And would like to know which spots would match my skill level at this point and offer me good (if possible not to crowded) waves to improve and get back to surf that I love. So I can regularly, every month or every two months take 4/5 days to catch some waves. I will do it alone so better to be places where I can find some tips from the locals or people from there so I don't go blind and out of shape to the sea!
