Looking for travel buddy keen to hit Lombok or indo ?

Hey surfers,

I'm keen to hit the travel bug and surf up indo, Lombok anyone keen to travel or meet over there for some awesome chilled out Bintang time

Flexible with times and dates 2016 ?

Any thoughts of accommodation and surfing guides in areas would be awesome to tee up ?

Any ideas or people even if it's a restrant you have eaten at

Thanks allot yeh I haven't been overseas yet Jaffa just keen for awesome rides and meet great people both surfers and locals. Lombok Kuta is probably the place for me by the research and others have said. I think once I'm over there I can meet up with people in the same intermediate/ better than average surfer keen to push for becoming a better surfer!

Your research is spot on! Garuda flights take boards free and connect through to Praya airport about an hour to Kuta Lombok. If you pick a surf camp or a hotel at Kuta they can arrange an airport pickup . There are good breaks in Kuta and then a van trip to Gerupuk ( to the east provides a good set of breaks and quite a few on the way.
Do yourself a favour and get Peter Neely's Book on Indo surf and Lingo. Explains just about everything a first timer should know! It also includes the breaks on Lombok and most other islands.
You could also consider Nusa Lembongan some good breaks there and some mid range stays!

Looking at a January trip, still trying to lock something in. But if we're both going to be there maybe we could T something up.
Could work out cheaper especially if we wanna share expenses for a boat trip or something
