Surfing Waves

Hey Guys and Gals,

Headed to Indo in April 2016. We decided to go the resort route but now we are torn between Macaronis or Kandui?

They both look awesome. Macas is about 1K cheaper but at the end of the day I want the best experience and waves possible. Mix of surfers Int-Adv but I'm a goofy and It's my birthday trip so I want some fun hollow lefts! haha

Have you been to both and if so what are your thoughts?

Tommy, I can hear you, I have been on a group trip,to Kandui resort , not villas!
I haven't been to Macaronis........ For intermediate advance d I would suggest Kandui. Resort.
Five waves rights and lefts immediately out the front at least 25 or more breaks with 15 minutes to half an hour by high speed canoe!

Air conditioned Umas ( huts) transport from Padang (Sumatra ) all meals and no transport cost to breaks.
You get to choose breaks at your level , death slabs to beginners and everything in between.

Kandui ( a left) epic scale and rifles (a right ) if you don't get barrel on any of the breaks you are not trying!

You will have fun wherever and your self assessment will be challenged!

Jaffa, where is your trip diary?

If you had any idea of how the net functions in Lombok , high winds rock the internet towers , monkeys eat the modem cabling, rain can stop it, uploads and down loads time out when it is working. Even here at the airport it just times out! I'll tell all when I get home!
