Hello everyone!

Im planing a surfing trip beginning of September, i have only one week and ill land in Porto, im looking for a cheap accommodation (10 eu a night hostel will be great) in a surfing town nearby.
i know that the surfing tourism is not well developed yet over there and i dont have the budget to rent a caravan.
if someone knows a surfing town or a surf spot near Porto with cheap hostel walking distance to the beach ill be grateful.
i already searched all over the web and couldn't find anything helpful.

thanks

Unfortunately the 10 euro per night accommodation doesn't seem to exist there are plenty of surf hostels there but not in that price range.
Surf tourism is quite well developed all over Portugal and they know an acceptable price to charge.
You might be being a little tight.
Try googling surf Port and learn the real state of play

Strangely enough we have a surf guide and map of Portugal and the Norte ( Porto) area in Surfing Waves, all you have to do is look a little deeper.

I did a surf safari with Atlanticriders from Porto to the Algarve. Next the beautiful beaches the thing I most remember was the localism all along the coast. Local surfers doing tactical gatherings on the beach and then going out to harass tourist surfers.
