Chiapas - tapachula area

Hello I am a new surfer, I am also going to end up having to take 1-2 trips yearly, down to chiapas in the tapachula area. Ive looked around online but cant seem to find any solid information. Does anyone know if there is any surfing in that area?

Look for information related to Puerto Madero surf break, It's located in the very southeastern portion of Tapachula. The good waves don't occur too frequently. But, that could benefit you because it means there will not be many surfers out.
