Surfing Waves

Has anyone here ever surfed on the Mediterranian in Marseille or in Nice?

Next year, I was planning to study in Biarritz, but that's not an option for me anymore . So now I have to decide between Marseille or Nice, if there are surfable waves there. If not I can pick Toulouse, which is only about 3hours away from Biarritz.

Yes, of course, there are plenty of spots there. Notably on the Marseille side (expect much less options around Nice).

However, there are only very short swells and almost only during fall/winter. Good conditions are hard to find and always short, try to have good weather knowledge ! It is also much more crowded than one may think.
Still, can be prety good, with good reef-breaks.
