can anyone tell me the name of some campsites that are in walking distance of woolacombe beach? the cheaper the better, i just cant tell off some websites how close they are to the sea. the campsit doesn't need many facilities, just toilets and showers and somewhere to stick a couple of tents lol. thanks!

www.northmortefarm.co.uk

Best in the area, and as close as any of the stupidly expensive ones eg sands and woolabay.

Just along in Mortehoe village.

How well behaved are you?!

I work there you see.

Cause if you say Toby recomended it to you they will let you in. but please please promise me you won't make a mess or excessive noise etc. and please stick to the site guidlines. There are simple enough and its out of season right now so its not as much worrie as usual.

Think its £5 per night at the mo.

Everywhere else will be atleast 8-10 per night if not more. ThatsWhat I mean by it being best in the area. But its up to you. There's Little Roadway on the top of the hill thats fairly checp but bit of a dump and its right at the top of Woolacombe Down (the massive hill that the road to gorgeham goes up.)

Then you've got easwell, thts now part of the woola sands group thats slowly rtaking over every site in the ara and charging extorsiant prices for it.
