Toro de Oro - longest power wave in El Salvador

Even though Toro de Oro is not a secret spot, it has remained totally uncrowded because road access has been unavailable. Toro de Oro is technically a public beach but it is located on a 690 private hacienda. For next winter 2015, starting March, one of the hacienda owners is considering opening a surf camp inside the hacienda. But he is taking his time, because he does not want to overdevelop the place. We need to have a plan on how to prevent the place from being trashed with plastic and glass bottles.
Also, we do not want to dump sewage in the ocean like most hotels in El Salvador do.

If anybody has any creative ideas and would like to share, please forward them.

I had a look at your post and website, it seems to be more pre-emptive advertising and blogging for SUPs and spots you can travel to. Possibly the Surf Camp to be?
Nowhere do you mention the issues you raise here on the blog.
Even the title of your post avoids the issues of development, surely " Surf Camp may pose Problems at Toro de Oro.
Straight advertising blurb= longest power wave in El Salvador.
I've seen lots of poor development in my surfing around the world and we should stand up against it and help grow new areas responsibly , something just doesn't sit right in how I see your post.
Maybe other forumites will have a different view on it.

Suggestions from an environmental engineer:
1. place MANY large plastic containers all over the place for people to put plastic and glass bottles in (place them everywhere because people are too lazy to walk 20 feet to a waste container)
2. regularly service the many large plastic waste containers. IF they are allowed to over-fill, people will simply throw their garbage on the ground

4. Consider whether you want to let people put toilet paper into dry toilet. I would not. I would provide plastic bins for them to place it in. Service these bins regularly so that do not overfill. Incinerate used toilet paper
