Morocco or Portugal

After spending 9 months in Australia and now being back in Europe, i realize how addicted to surfing i actually am. Over there i was surfing almost everyday, even in the sh***st conditions. The problem about being back is, that where i live, there is almost no surf.
Now a friend of mine, who had some surfing lessons in france, and me wanted to go on a surfing vacation during easter (27th of march-10th of april). After searching a bit on the internet, we decided to either go to southern Portugal or Morocco.
My question to you guys is now, which place you would recommend us. I prefer Morocco due to its warmer water, but Portugal is cheaper and is it really that cold during this time? And how is the swell, i can surf waves up to 6ft , my mate somewhere around 3-5ft.
