Hi, I know we have a thread under this seeking recommendations, however it's really devoted to Europe and planned to open it approximately the whole world. I'm an beginner/intermediate, and looking out for somewhere that I can surf some nice easy 3-5' waves within an area it's not too crowded to boost my wave count. I'll be traveling solo so prefer somewhere with some bit of a community also. I was just in Sayulita, Mexico and intensely liked the vibe there. As previously stated, I'm available to anywhere in the world, sooo want to hear everyone's suggestions!

Hi Mauricio,

You should check out Troncones as your next surf spot. You have about 7 different surfspots with almost no people. You could stay at http://www.tronconespointhostel.com and use this as a base for the other surf spots. It is best to rent a car.

Saludos,
Tom

Surfing is more fun when the waves are perfect. Everyone knows when you have glassy, peeling waves it’s easier to improve and surf well. That’s why we all crave great conditions and perfect waves.
Sayulita is a sunny, sea-side surfer’s paradise. It is renowned for its steady river mouth surf break. Sayulita has lot to offer right from horseback riding, hiking, jungle canopy tours, snorkeling fishing to bird -watching. It’s a safe, amicable and quaint little town that has innumerable art galleries and high-end restaurants to cater to the taste of upscale tourist as well.
