Honeymoon

Okay, so I am getting married next July and I am beginning to think about the honeymoon.
Both me and the missus are surfers, so that's high on the list. But I figure if we're going to spend a chunk of change then we should get a bit more. So I'd kinda like somewhere that has good diving too as the missus has her PADI licence and we have a friend who is a master diver and will be able to get me my licence in time.

I did think Maldives but after a quick search on here it appears that whilst it is epic for diving it is pretty complicated for surfing, so are there any other options. It will be in August.

Thanks.

Central America for sure.

Unless you want to go to Papua new guinea, which also has some awesome places, but prob a bit of a hassle

Oh yeah, congrats. I hear married life can be good

Don't dismiss the Maldives that easily, July is a peak swell season and the Maldives are very user friendly.
Most resorts can hook you up,with a first class diving set up with fully supported certification .
Get lucky you can dive with whale sharks and Manta Rays, there are good coral reefs inside most resorts, just inquire a little deeper ( sorry about the pun).
The other option I suggest is Shri Lanka.
Definitely congratulations and happiness with benign wildlife and classic waves for your honeymoon and onwards

Maldives is a good destination for both honeymoon and diving.
