Surfing Waves

Greetings, Gentlemen!

I stay in Lima now and think of going to Chile for surfing. Can you recommend me some place to visit?

I am not a complete newbie, but I need more practise. Here in Lima I standup my 7 feet board more or less confidently.

So the question is: which places in Chile I can visit? Or may be its better to go to Argentina?

Hello dymytry im from argentina, sorry i didnt see your message. Have you traveled yet? if you havent i can try and find out some suggestions for you.

I wouldnt recommend argentina so much during the winter because the ocean is mainly flat and the most southern costs are really really cold, i could ask someone about chile since its at the other ocean and could be better now.

Pichilemu is one of th emost consistant spots in chile, it is south and also it gets really cold, ould have to use 5mm suit, gloves, booties and Hood, also arica gets good but could be gnarly. Lima has good surf for beginners, try a bit south for longer and stronger waves!
