I'm going on a non surf trip to Indo.

Secret location , going to Bali as it was when I first went there decades ago. This is to show my wife what it was like even before our honeymoon there in 1989.
The spot is not a known surf destination nor a tourist trap, it does however have an occasional surf.
So a stealth mission, two surf mats are going with. Mini tube time is a possibility. I'll keep you posted about what I do but no location shots will be forthcoming

Sorry this is a genuine non surf trip, to show my wife old Bali.
Suffice it to say it is the north coast of Bali east of Singaraja it is cooler than south and west Bali and is drier in the wet season although still wet. There is rarely surf and it is not flooded by tourists.
The surf mats are going but may well stay unopened.

Hello, I have heard that Bali is one of the best places to visit in Indonesia, I do have a plan to visit next year. When you will be visiting there?

I'm leaving to go there tomorrow and then do a surf trip in May.

The good thing about this non surf trip is there is no surf
So just wife and me time, see Bali as it was my first trip in 1979. Away from all the madding crowd. The real Bali is still there!

Just a comment too, it is always good to look beyond the narrow focus of just surfing and see the lives of the people in whose home you play .
