Surf spots in Indonesia during wet season

I know that this is not the best time of year but hope to find a spot to surf anyway waiting for
better times ...
So far it looks like my best choice would be Batu Karas on Java but if somebody could suggest me a different spot I would be grateful.
Also what would be the earliest time of the year it would be worth to travel up north to Sumatra to a place like Krui? I understand it's best from May but would it be doable from let's say the end of March?
