Are there waves in Morocco in September? Which place should we go?

There will be waves, not great ones but decent for longboarding. WAter will be warmish too. The well known points will probably not be firing there but you may get lucky, you never know.

What level surfer are you?

I can recommend Moroccan Surf Adventures in Tamraght. Very good guya, professional outfit and a great all around time.

Hi,
September is outside the surf season for Morocco which usually starts around mid to late October/early November some years til about Feb/March. It is windy in September too, so a lot of windsurfers from Europe go during that time. People base themselves around the village of Thagazoute north of Agadir but there are waves around Casablanca and around Sidi Ifni too, you will need a car unless you go into a surf camp and then get driven around. Baby waves for learning maybe. Maybe a freak swell, generally not many people around that time of the year. You will need a springsuit.
