Hello All, Getting a group organized to surf Morocco. Looking at the area north of Agadir. We are just above the beginner level. So we are looking for a surf camp in that area. Comments please on good surf camps you have experienced.

We just came back from Morocco last Friday. Tagazoute is the centre of all things surfing near Agadir. There are a couple of groups that organise trips to the village and take people around the breaks. However, the majority are run by people who come over for 6-8 weeks and rent houses/rooms (for themselves and their clients) in Tagazoute.

As far as I am aware, the only permanent surf camp is Dynamic Loisirs, where we stayed. It is on a hillside overlooking Devils Rock just south of Tagazoute. They have a moroccan surf instructor and have just hired a new pro-longboarder called Chris Thomson from the UK for 3 or so months. It is a nice place to stay and the food there is great. I can recommend it. In the UK, the holidays in Morocco organised by Pure Vacations stay at Dynamic Loisirs.

Hey, I went surfing in Taghazoute Morocco in October as a complete beginner and it was fantastic. I went to Surf Maroc - http://www.surfmaroc.co.uk/
You should definately get in touch with them it was the most amazing holiday, you have a break right on your doorstep and nothing takes more than fifteen minutes drive. They have an instructor and they split up so different groups can go to where the conditions are best for them. Everyone is completely friendly and fun and the food is amazing lol we nearly kidnapped the chef! The beaches were completely crowd free it was fantastic, there were about six other surfers at the most on completely huge beaches and that was it! You can also hire boards if you don't have one. It was great coz the atmosphere was completely chilled yet everything managed to be completely organised (most of the time!). I would recommend it to anyone and my only regret was going for a week and not two!
