Hello,
This year im planing on going to nicaragua or costarica and i was hoping some of you may supply me with some info about these countries
BAsically ive never surfed before and havnt been to south america and my main concerns are about safety and prices.
As a first time surfer i was wondering whether CR or Nica are a good place to begin, and also for what is the range of prices i may rent a board
Moreover, the living costs also concern me as i read on the other websites that costa rica more expensive than nicaragua.
Also if you have any advice where to go as a first time surfer i would be very greatful. Im planing on going in september if this may have any impact the surfing safety and also the weather.
Thx a lot for any info, and if you have any other useful info or sugestions i will be very greatfull if you share them with me

Hey Foxford, check out http://www.surfsimply.com - they are in Costa Rica their packages seem amazing, once you touch down, you are taken care of. Their teaching concept is amazing....haven't seen anything else like it. They have loads of Videos on youtube offering guidance and feedback from previous visitors. You wont regret going there.

Nosara where Surf Simply is located is a good option. In Nicaragua the best surfing for beginners is in the San Juan del Sur area.

Or if you fancy the Caribbean, join us in the Dominican republic http://www.swellsurfcamp.com
have fun
