Hi, I'd be very grateful for any info in regards of surfing in Bermuda.

I may have an opportunity (!) for a family holiday there, and I know my son will want to check out if surfing is possible. A very quick search of the I/net indicates it should be, but if anyone here knows more, that would be great. Logic would tell me that the place to be is on the Atlantic facing shore, rather than the USA facing shore, for the larger swells - though being summer that might not happen unless there is a hurricane!!!

Many thanks for any gen - Lisa

The two most widely known surf breaks are on the east side:
1. Tucks in north at Tucker Town
2. Horseshoe Bay Beach in south at South Shore Park

Yes, they work better in hurricane, but tourists do surf them in the summer. It's probably not good surf, but the water will be beautiful.
