A fun place to surf in Mexico.

A fun place to surf that's not too far into Mexico is a little spot off the cliffs just South of Encinitas called Quatro Casas (sp?).

If you like camping, though be warned it's camping on dirt, so go when it's not raining or really windy conditions. But the surf is over smooth-rocky bottom and breaks nicely. And there are usually some great groups of people to share campires and stories with.
