Hey everybody,

As a beginner I really nead to ask you for advice. Which destination would you prefer when surfing in November: Israel or The Canaries?

I find plenty of surf schools on the Canaries on the internet, however, only 1 or 2 for Israel. And unfortunately, their webpages do not look very attractive.

Which dstination would you prefer?
Is it easy to rent a board and book a course in Israel? Can you recommend a surfing school in Isreal or the Canaries?

Thanks!!!

Alex

The Canaries. They are in an ocean. Israel is by the sea.

Canaries might not be particularly learner friendly, but you're much more likely to get a surfable wave.

It is entirely my personal opinion.
Two reasons why I wouldn't go to Israel, one is the infrequency of good surf, and theother, being in a conflict zone between two intractable political and religious opponents.
Could a lot nastier than plain old localism.

Canaries the Hawaii of the Atlantic and like Hawaii there are beaches where you can learn.

One amazing thing coming out of Israel that creates hope is some Israeli surfers are teaching their young neighbours to surf and sharing and passing on surf boards :D

Hi qfvision, welcome to Surfing Waves!

If it's for a surf trip, there's only one choice: The Canaries.
