Fuerteventura North Shore

Postby scalagio » Thu Jun 21, 2012 1:12 pm

Surfed Fuerteventura North Shore...no need to fly to Hawaii! Green waves hollowed out by 20 knot side-offshore wind. Reef-breaks are beautiful...on a bodyboard though! I only surfed the beach breaks cuz I was on new gear. Got a sweet deal at LineUp Fuerteventura: 5 euros/hour :woot: per item. I found out late, but they now organize kitesurf, surf, and SUP lesson/rental plus accomodation packages too.

Hi scalagio, welcome to Surfing Waves!

Sounds like a good trip. Fuerteventure definately has some of the heaviest waves in Europe. Love to see some photos.

Nice, thanks for that.
Looks like some serious size. I love how the last waves looks.

A trip there has been on the cards for me for a while. Have a mate that owns an apartment over there so holiday should be pretty cheap. They go over a couple of times a year as a gang. Missed the last couple, and going to miss the next one. But the one after that..... Oh boy!!!
Your goal shouldn't be to get on a small board as soon as possible, it should be to surf and have as much fun as possible.
