Going off the grid, Someone help

Postby rusty716 » Sun Mar 25, 2012 12:40 am

I am considering moving away from the mushy choppy wind swell that infests the east coast. I want to get on some real waves, i have been to Rio, Brazil and i have a strong passion for surfing. I know that surfing is not everything but i cant help but feel the exact opposite. I think that puerto rico seems like my type of heaven. I grew up in south florida surfing the shittiest waves that the Atlantic ocean has to offer. Has anyone ever been to Rincon. how consistant is the swell? whats the lifestyle like in PR? My goal in life is to surf everyday and not get closed out on. Is it possilble to live on a boat, surf all year around and be able to provide food for myself. where else does that sound possible? thanks guys
