camping/surfing around Biarritz and San Sebastian area?

Hi!
We are 3 guys from Sweden who are going to Biarritz in september for a month. We are planning to travel along the coast around Biarritz and san Sebastian. Anyways.. we were wondering if anyone knows any good camping spots or some cheap hostels around that area?
We are pretty much beginners and are also wondering what type of boards we should use? Should we buy or rent boards, and does anyone know the second hand prices or maybe a good surf-store?

Hi 12-51, welcome to Surfing Waves.
A month is a long time to hire boards for. It's probably better for you to buy a second hand board outright and save ££ ( or €€ perhaps )
There are plenty of surf shops in the area, but Biarritz is probably your best bet choice wise. You should be able to find something suitable.

Can't help with the cost of accommodation, but there is plenty on offer. Crowds should start to thin out in September - enjoy your trip.
