Hi all,

Im Maria a spanish girl traveling at the moment by cycle around the world. Im planning to go in june-july to the andamans and from there take any boat (as theres no oficial ferries) to go to thailand, malaysia or indonesia in order not to take planes...

I wonder if would be possible to travel with any charter boat in these months.

You can reply to mvb_74@hotmail.com

Thank you,

Maria

Hola Maria! You can go by land from Thailand to Malaysia then to Singapore. Then from Singapore you can take ferry to Batam Island which is already Indonesia. Then take another ferry to the Sumatra island. Then you can take ferries to go between islands in Indonesia. Unfortunately I have no information regarding ferries from Indonesia to Australia. Although, you can still take ferry from Sulawesi island in Indonesia to Cebu in The Phillippines. While in Borneo (Kalimantan), you can go on land to Malaysia (Sabah, Sarawak) and off to Brunei Darussalam (all those 3 countries are land bordered in Borneo island). Good luck!!! I'm amazed at what you do. You're one tough girl.
