Surfing in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic?

My wife and kids and I will be staying at the Grand Paradise Bavaro resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic next week.

Anyone know if there are any decent breaks nearby?

Macao , but that is not really close, it's a solid drive.
Great surf here in the Cabarete area but that's even further away ( 5-6 hours drive)

sorry to say man, but i worked in punta cana for a year at the bahia principe, and there is not a single break right around that area, theres some great diving and you could wind surf and kite surf, but definately no real surfing to speak of.
