surfing in Fuerteventura

Hi, me and my g/f are going Fuerteventura 6th Jan 2009. We want to no if we need to take a summer wetsuit or go for boardies and .5mm rashie? Anyone got any advice? Thanks very much.

I just got back from fuerte, would recommend a summer suit, I went out in rash vest and boardies and was fine for about half hour but had to put the suit on because of the wind it gets a bit nippy sitting on your board. the water itself was warm enough though.
