Hi guys,

I am a dutch student and I am looking for a Finance internship abroad. I would like to combine my internship with a beautiful country where surfing is a major topic. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this? I want to start in february and will be surfing/internshippin' for about 5 to 6 months. Any help is welcome!

Tropfest Short Film Festival:
The self proclaimed biggest film festival in the world, Tropfest, is touching down in Sydney this Sunday the 22nd of February in The Domain. Since it's beginning back in 1993 at the Tropicana Cafe in Darlinghurst the festival has indeed grown into the multi-national Godzilla of short
film festivals. This year it will be also be shown simultaniously via satellite on outdoor screens in the other major Australian cities. Gates open from 3pm for you to claim a patch of grass (unlike Jazz or Opera in the Domain it's important to be able to see the stage/screen). It's free to attend. The actual films start screening at 7.45pm, however there will be entertainment of some sort from 3pm. I would not recommend getting there any later than 5.30 if you want the screen to be anything other than a distant glimmer.

The films on show are the finalists which have been se-lected from thousands of entries so they are of a very high quality and always very entertaining or thought provok-ing in some way. Events like Tropfest are a great opportunity to get a bunch of friends together, pack up a basket of picnic goodies, and enjoy a summer evening outside. After the rainy week we've just had in Sydney it looks like it should be back to it's summery best on Sunday. I would definitely recommend getting a bus or train into the city as finding a park near the domain will be an in-teresting challenge. Fun films, great atmosphere and a nice summer evening!

Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk

Get out and walk this way!
The sound of waves on sand is Sydney’s theme song, and this short and sensational walk is a heart-and-soul symphony, wrapping up the very best of the city’s coastline. The walk is 6kms long and takes about 2 hours to complete at a good pace, but break that with a freshly squeezed juice or a relaxed coffee and you could take all day - finishing with a re-laxed swim at Coogee Beach. Of course you don’t have to walk all the way, you can finish at Tamarama or Bronte, even this short walk is more than worth the effort. Start: Head south from the promenade at Bondi Beach.

Stop 1:
At the south end of Bondi pass Bondi Iceberg's club, where members swim
summer and winter.

Stop 2:
At Mackenzies Point, enjoy the views north and south. There is an Aboriginal carving of a fish near the look- out.

Stop 3:
Tamarama is a small beach, have a break at the cafe.

Stop 4: Bronte Beach, have a swim in the surf or at the ocean pool plus a number of cafes.

Stop 5:
Waverley Cemetery has great ocean views and graves of many famous Australian's.

Stop 6:
Clovelly is a sheltered beach.

Stop 7:
Gordons Bay is great for scuba diving or snorkelling. Stop 8: Coogee Beach is around the next headland. Stay the day at the beach or walk around Coogee and the many signts. Bus to Circular Quay 373 depart every 10 to 15 minutes, or take the 353 back to Bondi Junction.
