Looking for a surf trip over winter break.

I'm looking to go surfing over my winter break from College December 12th-January 6th. Not necessarily the entire break but for at least some of it, willing to go anywhere what are the best places to go in the Winter?

Depends rather heavily on which bit of the planet you are presently on.
