Lanzarote at Christmas

Hi,
Anyone got any experience of Lanzarote around Christmas time?
Pretty much a noob, wanting a bit of sun and surf over the break, how do the conditions fair at this time of year?
any tips are gladly appreciated...

They'll be starting to get big. I think it peaks around February time. They don't call the Canaries the Hawaii of Europe for nothing you know!
But maybe someone will have real experience and not just speculation for you.
Anyone?

Canaries are becoming an ever popular xmas get-a-way you'll have a blast. Solid swells warm(er) waters happy days :)

nice. thanks for the intel. the weather doesnt seem that warm unfortunately :( , although im going primarily for teh surf, the deeper into winter we go, the more important the sun side of things is becoming
