Fuerteventura first-timer

Postby fedhouse » Wed Jun 17, 2009 3:09 pm

Hey there,
next August first time in Fuerte.
Can anyone give us some advice on where are the best spots for intermediate level surfers?
Also: water temperature?
Thanks 8)

Aug - Shortie or boardies/rastvesh in the early morning/Late evening in the day you'll burn and the wind gets up.

IMO everywhere is fairly tame on the average swell. much above 3-4ft and it starts getting heavyer esp on the slabs.

If you want a good shot at getting some waves, I've just come back from a holiday in fuerte with a surf school called << suspicious name drop #2 removed >>, they take you to the secret spots that you wouldn't find on your own and they're fairly cheap in comparison to others - I'm sure they wouldn't mind driving you around for a reduced price, if they had other intermediate level surfers and places in cars... 8)
