I'm looking to learn how to surf somewhere near Biarritz. Can anyone recommend any surf camps in that area (I've googled it and the choice is huge!)?

gonna say Wavexperience in Vieux Boucau is pretty sweet, they have other camps dotted around too but that seems to be the main one and the guys there seem pretty chill.

Mate,
I stayed at a camp in Biarritz last year. I have surfed a bit, but didnt have any boards nor know the region. The mob is called Stoke Travel, I think their email is stoketravel.com, and the camp was awesome. A good bunch of people from all over the world, they knew their stuff in the water and we made heaps of parties. And it was pretty cheap too. Go with them, because everything else is pretty far from Biarritz, and it is a wicked town.
Good luck mate, pray for swell.

I can recommend Matt Gallico at Gliss'Experience (
http://www.glissexperience.com/ ) in Biarrtiz and Anglet, he takes the class each day to wherever the surf is best in the region that day, often 2 different spots & sessions per day, you'll surf quite a few different spots in a week. Dinner is usually in Biarritz for the nightlife.
Or Cyril at Surfer's Paradise in Tarnos, by the Plage du Métro :
