Surfing Waves

Am excited to report that I'm moving to Santa Barbara. I start a great new job on April 8. Planning to have surf, office, and home all within 15 mintues of one another. Some say the water will be warmer (than NorCAL), too. Wife and big black dog are also excited about the move. Will look some of you area surfers up once I relocate in order to learn more about the breaks!

Oh, just remembered your plan: "The plan is to leave on Thursday the 14th of May after work and start driving on down to San Diego from my home town of Puyallup, WA."

By all means, let's meet during your travels. We won't have been in Santa Barabara too long by the time you'll roll through, but I've surfed in that area a little bit and we're dog friendly.

Update: Am presently in Santa Barbara with wife and dog actively looking for a new home. Have several promising prospects. It is so great to be here!

Looks like I am not going to make it down there this May. Sucks...

am sorry for your most recent news. keep the faith and come down here later after I know the breaks. We rented a house today so there will be plenty of room for you and the dog later. We won't move down to Santa Barbara for 3 to 4 weeks.

Looks like I will be coming down next year (nothing for sure yet).
