surf and study in spain

I study mathematics and I want to go abroad to spain to study.
I want to go there with the erasmus program, but right now, we don't have any partner universities in spain, except for madrid, which is not so interesting for me (no sea...) ;P
We have this bureau, that can organize the exchange, but
before I speak with them, I would like to know which cities are the best for surfing.

so far I read on different forums that San Sebastian (was there this summer, nice city looked good, even though we didnt surf there, but in zarauz), a coruna, santander and maybe cadiz are the best cities to go . I would really prefer cities that are right at the sea, and not 10 kilometers away from the coast so you can go to the beach very quickly, because I don't have a car.
I just recently started surfing so I don't need the biggest waves on earth to be happy =)

an extra information would be if any of you guys knows where to study mathematics, but I guess nobody knows that here =)
moreover the bureau can look this up for me.

so does anybody have any suggestions?

thanks in advance

PS: my hope my english is not too bad =)

Looks like Santander University has a Mathmatics course http://universidades.consumer.es/universidad-de-cantabria/matematicasit's far cheaper than uk too at just 606 euros a year

As for the surf- http://www.surf-atlantico.com do a tour of all the best surf breaks in the area with lessons included
