Surfing in the canary islands

Hi
Has anyone surfed the Canary Islands in Jan /Feb time? If so which island do you recommend?

Hi Sarah,
I would probably advise you look into Fuerteventura or Lanzarote. I would say they have the most chance of scoring some nice fun waves (sometimes even crazy big ones) but I am not sure what the other islands would hold (Gran Canaria or Tenerife)
I live on Fuerte myself and therefore know that the first two I mentioned have loads of good waves about.
