Bali or Morocco in Feburay?

Postby Hans » Mon Dec 08, 2008 1:07 pm

Hello out there.

I´m planing a 4 weeks trip in feburay and have a hard time finding out where to go?

Morocco sounds like a great place for the the winter season, but how is the waves compared to for exsample Bali in the same time a year?

Thanks - Hans // DK

Never been to Morocco, but if you decide to go to Bali, it'll be good because it's off season (off peak), which means less tourists and leads to cheaper airafare and hotel rates. Also less crowded beaches.
Good luck deciding!

Not sure what Bali will be like in February but who cares, just go. I was there in October and it was incredible. A lot of friends tell me Morocco is good to so i suppose it's a win win situation.

Hi

I have exactly the same dilema - what's your final decision?

Bali looks like warm water, but not the best month for surf -plus extra health risk and cost. However tropical and attractive.

Morocco looks fun, but wet suits and not so exotic - but cheaper.

let me know if you make a decision.

cheers

Currently my choice is limited to Bournemouth or Boscombe. Ah well, dream on Trev.

Now now Sutt, cheaper is a state of mind. It all depends on where you're originated and how much you budget for this trip. If you're from the US or Europe, Morrocco might be cheaper in airfares, but plus hotels, meals, and local transportations, it might be more expensive. Bali will have a higher airfares, but tell me where, other than in Bali, you can eat, sleep ina decent hotel, and go to clubs or bars everynight and spend no more than $150 (American) a week? Something else to consider... :D
