Hi, I'm from Czech republic, I'll go to Turkey - city Samsun in black sea region for studying for next summer semester. This summer I was in Hossegor (France) and I loved surfing so lot...

So if is possible to find some surf spots in black sea in Turkey? In Samsun, or near...

So are some surf shops in Turkey??

I try to find some with google, but I don't find some...:(

P.S. sorry for my bad english..:)

Hi there,

First of all, you can find some rideable waves in Samsun but I do not know exactly where they are in that region. You shoud try also Sinop, near Samsun.

We are always surfing in Istanbul during the winter time. We have waves but not like Hossegor. The waves are just windswell. I mean, strong onshore winds. And you need a wetsuit hooded with booties (5/4mm).

Unfortunately, you can not find any surf shop in Turkey because of not popular yet. So, you must bring your equipment.
