Where to surf in the suffolk area??

I have just moved to the suffolk area, anyone have any info on a few spots along the coast??

Haha.
The only options, very very occasionally on a huge north swell in deepest darkest winter will be little wedges off the groynes around southwold area. Best bet would be to get in the car to north norfolk- East Runton, Cromer area can be surfable in the aforemention conditions.

Where u moved to? I live near Colchester, just north.

yes mate there is i will pm u spots tomoz they do not work very often lol u have travel a bit up the coast for them

I live in boxted, just north of colchester. Now that i think about it there is sometimes something surfable at walton on the naze near the pier if you get desperate. skisurf on the peartree ind. estate can take care of basic board repairs but its really a ski and windsurf place.

I've surfed Southwold on a southerly before and it was sick, but as said above works mainly on northerly swell.
Walberswick and Cove Hythe have been known to get swell but you need to check them on the day and see.
Lowestoft has been getting better over the last couple of years and then there's Kessingland which can be really good on northerlies.

Me and the lads are going to suffolk this winter, we are usually down perreanporth for the summer but we never got to go, any good swell on the east coast?
