Anyone else for Biarritz first week Sept?

Postby aaron d » Fri Aug 01, 2008 9:02 pm

Hello, hi, im a student from ireland on the verge of booking flights to biarritz, for 29th aug and leaving 4th Sept, found cheap flights, thinking of staying in a campsite or hostel near the centre, if there was anyone else who was heading to the area at the same time who wanted to meet up for a surf or camp together or whatever, their company would be most welcome.....? oh im fairly beginnerish - that might be relevant, aarond90@gmail.com, thank you ...

No worries, I booked an apartment in Anglet. It only cost €370 which was not bad for the week seen as the flights were free bar taxes. Prob rent a car and do a tour of the coast, head up to Hossegor and a few other spots hopefully.. Where are you based? I'm in Limerick, was down in Doonbeg today.. Messy as hell but still out for about 3 hours.. Tomorrow looks better.. Later man

Surf was poor today, paddling about for a few hours. Got feckin scalded. Been in to get my French phrase book myself. All we need now is the surf. You might let me know how you get on. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Ya bringing my board with me. If I had checked it in online with the flight it was €30 each way but seen as I didnt its €40 each way to check in on the day.. I reckon it would cost more to rent one for the week so I said I would bring my own. Just hope the bagage handlers will be gentle with it, although some how I doubt it!!!!
